Mushrooms, Toadstools and other Fungi in Epping Forest
There has been an amazing flush of fungi this autumn (1998), making the forest a very worthwhile place to visit.

However may I remind all visitors that it is strictly against the rules of the Corporation of London for anyone to gather any of these fungi !
Minute ones (less than 1cm - 3/8 in.)
Small ( 1cm to 4cm - 3/8 in to 1 1/2in)
Medium (4 to 6cm - 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 in)
Large (6 to 20cm - 2 1/2 to 8 in)
